All coaches must complete in-person coach training for their specific age division. Training typically occurs in May and August of each year. See below for specific training dates.
COACH TRAINING 6U THROUGH 8U
Dates (Coaches must attend both to be certified):
Monday, August 14, 2023: 6:30pm - 9:30pm Belmont Sports Complex
Friday, September 1, 2023: 6:30pm - 9:30pm Belmont Sports Complex
Wednesday, September 6, 2023: 6:30pm - 9:30pm Belmont Sports Complex
There will be on the field training. Please come with a light jacket (it may be chilly), water and shoes that you can move in. No sandals or flip flops.
Before the season starts, all coaches must:
Be registered as a AYSO Region 108 Coach. For more information go to Volunteer as a Coach.
Take Safe Haven
Take SafeSport
Take Sudden Cardiac Arrest
Take Concussion Awareness
Be fingerprinted
Completion of all these activities is required to coach, but you may complete them after you complete the coach course.
